Why 'Domain' field is present in non-domain separated instance, that too pointing to sys_user_group?

I read on docs which says, 'Domain' <sys_domain> field on table will indicate that table is domain separated.

But ours is a Non-domain separated instance and I see 'Domain' and 'Domain Path', 'Overrides' fields in ALL the tables. Why is it so?

 and wierd thing is, its pointing out to sys_user_group table. Why so?

Hi Suggy, 

I think the domain field may be an OOB field on some tables.  But won't be used unless the domain separation plugin is activated.
