Good day all,
Using Jakarta, with the Knowledge Mgmt - Service Portal active. When typing a search in the Knowledge Homepage Search box, I get no type-ahead results. What am I missing? Seems like it should be simple, as it works fine on the portal homepage.
Spent several hours over the weekend searching the forums, just haven't found the answer yet.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Have you checked the portal definition for search sources and for each search source is the "enable typeahead" checkbox enabled?
If both are looking at the same knowledge base, then this may be enabled, but worth a check.

I did, just double checked, too. Enabled for all search sources. Thanks for the suggestion.

Not quite.
I'm on the Knowledge Portal homepage (Page ID "kb_home"), and it's the Knowledge Homepage Search (kb-homepage-search) widget that I'm trying to make work (screenshot of where I am in my first post).
Can't figure out why I get drop-down search suggestions on the Service Portal homepage, but not on the KNOWLEDGE Portal homepage.
Something else I noticed - the "Knowledge Management Service Portal" does not live in the "Global" application (it has its own)...which leads me to wonder if that has anything to do with anything - and if that means I should not be using it?
