I am working on a small requirement where employees use salary prepaid cards from First Abu Dhabi Bank and they often raise tickets asking for their card balance or how to check it. We want to reduce these repetitive requests by providing a simple option inside our ServiceNow portal.
The issue I am facing is that FAB prepaid cards do not seem to have a straightforward public API for balance inquiry, at least nothing officially documented that I could integrate. I initially thought of adding a widget that fetches balance directly, but now it looks like that may not be possible from ServiceNow side.
I am considering whether to just guide users through SMS or ATM instructions inside the portal, or if there is any better way others have implemented something similar, maybe through secure external links or some kind of integration workaround.
Has anyone here dealt with a similar use case involving bank prepaid cards and ServiceNow? I want to keep it simple for users but still useful enough so they do not have to raise tickets every time.
