I just lost my course's instance and my whole work disappeared
so I thought that I always work on my own PDI (Zurich) so every time I do not worry about the expiration time of the instance of the course.
My question is how can I connect the tasks in the course simulation with my PDI ?
thank you all.

Hi @plee700p
No, mate. Lab instances are dedicated, isolated environments provided specifically for training courses and are completely separate from PDIs. There is no connection between the two.
If you simply want to practise, you can use a PDI. However, if you want to validate your work and complete the required steps in a training course, then a PDI cannot be used for that purpose.
You would need to obtain a new lab instance and complete the work again, as the work from your previous lab instance will not be available in the new instance.

Hi @plee700p
It is not possible.
First, the course-related plugins must be installed in your PDI environment, and they may not always be available.
Second, if you simply follow the lab instructions, you will not be able to Validate whether your PDI configuration is correct or not.
However, if your goal is only to practice and gain hands-on experience, you can still try it. It will help enhance your learning and improve your understanding.

Hi @plee700p,
You can do in PDI what you did in Lab instances but you cannot connect your PDI to Now Learning to validate your lab courses.
Use PDI as a practice ground and use Lab instances to validate the course contents.

Hi @plee700p,
Although such a method is not possible, there is a way you can save your work by simply using an update set in your course instance (lab instance) and then move that update set into your personal PDI. In this way, you can save whatever work you did in the lab instance to your PDI, where you don't have to worry about your work getting lost.
If you find my answer useful, please mark it as Helpful and correct. 😊
