Question:
I have a requirement where several users have the same full name, but different user IDs.
When using @mention in the comments, it becomes difficult to distinguish which user is which.
I want the @mention display format to be:
Full Name (UserID)
Example:
John Smith (jsmith01)
But I want this format only when @mentioning users in the sc_req_item table — not globally for all tables.
What I need help with:
How can I customize the @mention suggestion list to show Full Name + (User ID) only for a specific table?
Is there a script include, UI script, or dictionary override that can target only the sc_req_item table?
Any best-practice way to modify the Mention functionality without affecting the whole instance?
