I want to create interactive filter based on vendor and parent field which is available in assignment group.

incident should be filter based on vendor and parent field.

Scenario:

You have incidents with Assignment Group.
Assignment Group has fields: Vendor and Parent.
You want to filter incidents based on these fields.

OPTION 1: Interactive Filters with Dot-Walking (Easier)

Step 1: Create the Dashboard

Go to Platform Analytics > Dashboards (or Performance Analytics > Dashboards if using the classic version).
Click New Dashboard.
Give the dashboard a name.

Step 2: Add Filter by Vendor.

In the dashboard, click Add Filter.
Configure as follows:
Vendor Filter Configuration:

Label: "Vendor"
Type: Single select (or Multiple select if you want multiple selections)
Data to filter: Incident
Field to filter: assignment_group.vendor (use dot-walking)
Display field: Name

Save the filter.

Step 3: Add Filter by Parent.

Click Add Filter again.
Configure as follows:
Parent Filter Configuration:

Label: "Parent Group"
Type: Single select (or Multiple select)
Data to filter: Incident
Field to filter: assignment_group.parent (use dot-walking)
Display field: Name

Save filter

Step 4: Add Visualizations

Add your visualizations (lists, charts, etc.)
Make sure they use the Incident table
Filters will be applied automatically
