Linking to source control with OAuth

I'm trying to link an application to GitLab using OAuth.  I created the app registry and the credentials.  When I click the Get OAuth Token, it successfully gets a token.

When I configure the repository in ServiceNow IDE, it wants a Git username.  IDK what that's supposed to be.  I've tried my ServiceNow user as well as my GitLab username and get:

Repository authentication failed, check credentials. Make sure the user has both read and write access

I'm following this:  Connect to a Git provider using OAuth 2.0 • Australia Build or modify applications • Docs | ServiceN...

Does anyone have any idea what that's supposed to be?

Never mind.  After hitting Retry about 30 times, it worked.  As I always say, if at first you don't succeed, try 30 more times.
