Walk up experience free text option

Hello, 

I have enabled free text option in Walk-up Experience, but whatever user puts in free text field is coming up in short description over writing the reasons for visit, so how do I fix this. I want reasons for visit as well as free text option

In Walk-up Experience in ServiceNow ITSM, when you enable Free Text, the system automatically stores that value in the short description. At the same time, the “Reason for Visit” also tries to populate the short description, so the free text ends up overwriting it.

To fix this, don’t use the short description for both. Keep the “Reason for Visit” in the short description and store the free text in another field like description or a custom field (for example, u_additional_details). This way, both values are saved properly without overriding each other.
