Introduction

We are incredibly excited to share ServiceNow has acquired Bravium Labs’ applications.  This acquisition marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to make ServiceNow Impact the industry-leading Customer Success Product and offers our customers even more powerful capabilities. By folding Bravium Labs’ applications into ServiceNow Impact, we will accelerate Impact’s ability to address customers’ Platform Health by remediating issues from past development and preventing issues in real-time for future development.

Background

Bravium was founded in 2010 and has become a leader in providing solutions and products for the ServiceNow platform and they released the Best Practice Engine application in 2017. Their focus on Platform Health, DevOps and workflow automation has garnered attention across industries, and their technology has proven invaluable in helping customers optimize the performance of their ServiceNow instance. Bravium won the 2025 ServiceNow Worldwide Innovation Partner of the Year and was named ServiceNow Store Partner of the Year in 2024.

The decision to acquire Bravium Labs’ applications from Bravium Consulting stems from our commitment to providing cutting-edge tools to enhance and maintain Platform Health. This acquisition allows us to integrate their software directly into ServiceNow Impact, further bolstering our Platform Health and Performance capabilities.

Key benefits of the acquisition & capabilities

With this acquisition, we’re able to further enhance ServiceNow Impact with a suite of new features, including:

  • Automated Code Inspections: Identifies deficiencies and ensures adherence to ServiceNow best practices in real-time.
  • Technical Debt Reduction: Calculates and prioritizes technical debt, offering insights for improvement.
  • Real-time Error Monitoring: Provides real-time feedback to developers, preventing bad code from entering the system.
  • Comprehensive Dashboards: Categorizes and prioritizes views of technical debt and additional instance quality metrics.
  • Training and Governance: Aids in training new developers on best practices and helps maintain consistent, high-quality development across teams.

These features are designed to optimize and improve the use of the ServiceNow platform, with a strong emphasis on code quality, automation, and adherence to best practices.

What it means for customers

This integration means a major enhancement to our Platform Health offering, rounding out our robust set of capabilities. The functionality we acquired from Bravium Labs will be folded into all Impact packages beginning in December 2025. With this integration, customers can achieve high quality ServiceNow implementations even within highly custom integrations. The applications provide real-time code checking, along with agentic features for self-healing. By combining with the power of our existing Impact product, we will deliver super-powered platform health capabilities.

The road ahead

ServiceNow will no longer sell Bravium Labs’ applications as stand-alone to new customers and the apps will be removed from the ServiceNow App Store.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue innovating with Bravium Labs’ and are committed to making this integration as smooth as possible. We’re planning to launch these capabilities as part of Impact in Q4 FY2025 and all existing ServiceNow Impact customers will be entitled to the app.

We’re thrilled to welcome Bravium Labs team to ServiceNow. Together, we are more equipped than ever to help our customers achieve their goals. Stay tuned for more updates as we re-platform this exciting new technology into ServiceNow Impact.

The transaction closed on May 2,  2025.

What is the impact (no pun intended) to current BPE customers?  Will there be some sort of migration off of BPE and onto Impact?
