HI, 

 

I was just in my PDI yesterday and tried to wake it up today, but it continues to say its Offline.

Hi @philshe 

 

Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

Sometimes it takes few days for the PDI to be available back. You have to wait and no other option.

You can release and request a new instance if you don't have anything to lose.

When have you logged in for the last time? the longer intervals between logins the longer waking time, at least it feels that way :))

 

check the top side of that page, I had the same status of my PDI last week and it was due to unschedueld maintenance... there was also possibility to be notificed via email once it is done

The PDI still seems to be offline today, although now it is stuck in Hibernate and won't wake up. 

It depends on luck now — either wait a bit or try releasing the instance mate.

are you accessing it from your-instance.servicenow.com/login.do or from the https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do and Start building button? 

 

If not tried, I recommend to log in to your profile at Dev site and try it from there.

Do you have there anything in progress or is it a fresh instance? To save some time and nerves, it might be worthy to think of requesting a new one (but losing everything from the old one)... how does that sound?

 

Let me know if there is any difference.

accessing via the portal and trying every hour or so.
