When i was try to triggered catalog item through scripted rest api ,it is getting 2 approvals

When i was  try to triggered catalog item through scripted rest api ,it is getting 2 approvals , one is through script and another one approval is workflow but i need only one approval that is  workflow approval  . how can i do that. can anyone pls help me .

You are giving your own answer: the script is creating the second approval you don't need, so get it out of the script.
