Hi all, I don’t have any questions at the moment — I just wanted to introduce myself and say that I’ve started my journey toward becoming a Business Process Analyst. If you have any advice for me, please feel free to share.

Happy to help, mate.

I started as a BA, then moved to BPC, and now I’m working as a Platform Owner. This journey has always been an interesting learning experience.

As a BA, the first part is all about skills and understanding the platform. We should not think about the platform functionally at first, but understand how it is built, how it moves, and how it works. It’s also important to gain knowledge of additional products like GRC, SAM, etc.

As a BA, you are the first point of contact for the client, so communication and client handling skills are very important. We should focus on workshops, writing skills, and also be able to do small POCs. It’s essential to understand the differences in customer situations and configuration.
