Getting Started on my Career Path

Looking for any advice as I start to shift my career from the agile space working primarily with Dynamics applications to working in the serviceNow space.  I am loving the courses and take something everyday.  By the end of the summer I will be looking at leveraging my past experience and new skill set for my first position in the serviceNow world.  Any links, sites, advice you can give would be appreciated. 🙂

I’m a ServiceNow Trainer and would be happy to guide you on this. I completed my B.Com in the 2005 batch and built my career in ServiceNow from there.

Since you already have industry experience, there's nothing major to worry about—but I want to be honest: Breaking into ServiceNow as a fresher is becoming more competitive nowadays.

If you're planning to switch to ServiceNow, be prepared to put in a lot of hard work, as you'll be learning an entirely new platform and technology. First, it's important to figure out where you feel most comfortable—whether it's scripting, development, or consulting. There are many roles in ServiceNow, but to begin any of them, it's crucial to understand the basics.

I recommend starting with the CSA course on Now Learning. Begin going through the course and see if you're genuinely interested in learning more. If you find yourself enjoying it, then you're definitely on the right path, mate!
