Purpose of the plugin AI Control Tower for Enterprise AI Foundation​(sn_aict_foundation​)

I am currently reviewing the AI Control Tower setup in our instance and noticed that we already have the AI Control Tower (sn_aict) plugin installed.

I also came across another plugin, AI Control Tower for Enterprise AI Foundation (sn_aict_foundation), and would like to understand its purpose and relevance.

Could someone please help clarify:

  • In what scenarios should sn_aict_foundation be installed?
  • How does it differ from the standard sn_aict plugin?
  • Are there any specific licensing or entitlement requirements associated with it?

Any guidance or documentation would be greatly appreciated.

sn_aict is is the core operational application for AICT.

 

sn_aict_foundation is digital identifier for your AICT SKU.  for ex: sn_aict_foundation helps you to tell which license SKU you are in. if you are using any enterprise SKU( you need to enable observability, then it is Enterprise SKU), your system will identify using this digitial identifier.

 

Do i need to use both or install both ? Yes, if your organization's licensing structure requires the enterprise AI foundation tier, sn_aict_foundation works in tandem with sn_aict to validate entitlements.
