There is existing field Application(u_air_id) referrring to cmdb_ci on the u_incident_task table. This is the lookup field containing all the list of aplications. But now in this list I have to show the list of applications based on the assignment group.
I cannot use the advanced reference qualifier as this is existing field and already using simple ref qual.
Only option left is Dictionary Override on that field, but it is not working though the logic is correct
Note : - I have created new field for testing purpose and written the advanced reference qualifier for it. It is working as expected so the logic is correct.
Please suggest what corrections I can do in the Dictionary Override
Attaching the screenshots for reference.
In one ss I have shown it is working correct for newly created field

why dictionary override?
That's your custom table and your custom field, simply add your own logic in advanced ref qualifier.

Hii @SanikaK
Along with possible caching and ref qual conflicts in base fields, this prevents the assignment group filtering of cmdb_ci applications on u_incident_task.u_air_id. It is fixed by clearing cache and checking setup, as in other similar issues. Clear cache: Navigate to /cache.do

Hello @SanikaK ,]
Are you passing that required parameter in dictionary override ?
If this helps you then mark it as helpful and accept as solution.
