Domain separation not applied to newly created PAR Dashboards in Yokohama

Hello,
I’m currently using PAR Dashboards in a Yokohama version environment.
In our domain-separated instance, we’ve encountered an issue related to dashboard visibility control.

Issue:
Some dashboards are visible to users in other domains.
However, this only happens with dashboards that were newly created in the current environment
dashboards migrated from the previous (older) environment do not have this problem.

Is there any recommended way or configuration to ensure that newly created dashboards follow the same domain visibility behavior as the migrated ones?

@kack l As per the documentation :

"Data collection jobs respect the domains of facts table records, such as incidents, when they collect indicator scores. Users see scores only from domains they have visibility into. Platform Analytics Solutions use this approach. It is the most suitable approach in most cases."

I believe it should work with new dashboards as well, if issue occurred after upgrade, raise a HI case with SN, it could be due to some PRB.

Hi @kack l

It looks like there’s a migration issue with domain separation. Try checking the domains manually and fixing them.

It’s hard to say the exact root cause, so if the issue persists, log a Now Support case — since it’s related to domain separation, some fix may need to be applied.

Thanks for your reply.

Additional information:
These dashboards were created under the Global domain.
Previously, users in Domain A could not see them.
However, in the new environment (after upgrading), users in Domain A can now see these dashboards as long as their group or role is included in the dashboard’s sharing settings (Group/Role in PAR Dashboard Permission).

This behavior did not occur in the previous environment (classic dashboards under pa_dashboards).
