Hi @maazibrahim,
what exactly would you like to achieve? Usually there are more options how to do stuff but I am not sure what's your goal..
If you want to learn some basics of ServiceNow administration, try any of these pre-defined labs and trainings, it might be good idea to have some guidance before you start to play around alone. What do you say?
Let me take this opportunity to share following resources with you:
- Get Started with ServiceNow University
- Learn about ServiceNow and earn badges, points, certificates, and improve your rank.
- Most courses are free, only a few are paid.
- Start with the "Welcome to ServiceNow " training, it's fun and gives you your first certificate!
- The Certified System Administrator (CSA) certificate is a good start, it's useful for almost any ServiceNow role.
- Trainings at the SN University provide temporary lab instances with pre-installed plugins and apps.
ServiceNow Career Journeys & ServiceNow Career Paths
- Pick a ServiceNow Career Path that matches your interests.
- We’ll help you start at the right level based on your skills.
- A ServiceNow Credential gives you industry recognition.
- It proves your investment and boosts your professional value.
Learning Plans at the Developer Portal
- Request your Personal Developer Instance (PDI), your own ServiceNow sandbox to practice safely.
- You can try almost everything for free (except a few advanced features like AI).
- Explore guides, tutorials, blogs, and documentation to learn more.
- Short and self-paced modules.
- Best practices, references,
Good luck! 🤞💪

Hi @maazibrahim ,
Great that you’re practicing Incident form customization!
In ServiceNow, fields like Notes, Related Records, and Resolution Information are controlled by the Form Layout and Form Sections.
Here’s how you can add them:
1) Add Notes (Work Notes / Additional Comments)
Open any Incident record.
Right-click on the header.
Select Configure → Form Layout.
From the left side, move:
Work notes
Additional comments
to the selected fields.
Save.
These appear under the Notes tab automatically.
2) Add Resolution Information Section
Right-click header → Configure → Form Designer.
Click Add Section.
Name it Resolution Information.
Add fields like:
Close code
Close notes
Resolved by
Resolved at
Save.
3) Add Related Records
Related Records (like Problem, Change, etc.) appear in the Related Lists section at the bottom.
To add them:
Right-click header.
Select Configure → Related Lists.
Move required related lists to the selected side.
Save.
If this is helpful.. Please Mark it as helpful and please Accept My Solution..

Hi @maazibrahim ,
I will suggest you
First go through Welcome to Servicenow course and then
go through ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals
Post completion, you can see you have got the answer of your question. Lots of video available in youtube, take the help from there as well.
Good Luck!
