Getting Error while creating custom Application in Servicenow Studio in PDI.

Hi Community,

I’m trying to create a custom application in ServiceNow, but I’m facing an error during the creation process.

Details:

• Instance type: PDI

• Application scope: Custom scoped application

• Method used: Servicenow Studio

• Error message: Unable to create this application. Go back to the create app experience and enter a different scope name. Details: Failed to create templated object, details: This scope is already taken by another application.

What I’ve tried so far:

• Logged out and logged back in

• Cleared cache

• Tried creating the application again

Despite this, I’m still getting the same error.

If anyone has faced a similar issue or can guide me on what might be missing or misconfigured, I’d really appreciate your help.

@muskankanni There is an issue with the application name you are choosing. There is already an application with the same name on you instance. Please choose a unique application name and this error will disappear.
