Hi Team, How to add date and time stamp for live agent in service operation workspace in servicenow

In Service Operations Workspace, Live Agent timestamps are handled by Workspace UI components, not classic UI scripts.

  • The date/time is already stored in the backend chat/message records.

  • If you don’t see it in the UI, it’s usually because the OOB messaging component doesn’t display timestamps by default.

  • Check in UI Builder → SOW page → Messaging/Conversation component to see if a timestamp option is available (depends on version).

  • If there’s no option, the only way to show it is by using a custom Workspace component that reads the message timestamp and displays it.

Client Scripts and UI Policies won’t work in Workspace.

If you share your ServiceNow version and whether this is OOB Live Agent or Messaging, I can be more specific.
