How can a fulfiller select multiple records in List View and terminate them using a custom UI Action

Hi Everyone,

I am working on a requirement where a fulfiller should be able to:

Select multiple Legal Request records from the List View,

• Click a custom UI Action button (e.g., “Terminate”),
• Run validation on each selected record:
  • State must be Case Ongoing OR Submitted to BU
  • Case Type must be Cases OR Contracts
• If eligible → Add a work note

How can I hook the Script Include to a List UI Action so the fulfiller can select multiple records and run the “Terminate” operation directly from the List View?

Any example of a recommended approach (server-side List UI Action vs GlideAjax) or best practices for bulk record processing would be very helpful.
