How to Rename the count of the report.

Hello Community,

I have created a pivot report in ServiceNow that displays the count of records assigned to users. Currently, the report shows the default count values (as shown in the screenshot). When a record is assigned, it displays the count, and when no records are assigned, it shows 0.

I would like to customize these labels:

  • Replace 0 with "Not Applicable"
  • Replace "Count" with "Assigned"

Is it possible to rename or modify these values in the report?

Thanks in advance.

Can we rename the count..?  TIA.

if you migrated to Platform Analytics then did you open the Platform analytics dashboard and then see if it created Data Visualization for this?

@Ankur Bawiskar,

yes Data visualization has been created.

Hey @SivaprasadV

The property you're referring to is glide.report.enable_alias_config. When enabled, it adds the Configure Report Labels option, which lets you define aliases for supported column headers and field values.

However, this property does not apply to aggregation labels in Pivot Reports. Labels such as Count, Sum, Average, etc., are generated by the reporting engine and cannot be renamed through Report Label Aliases.

So, even with glide.report.enable_alias_config enabled, Count cannot be changed to Assigned in a standard Pivot Report.

If your goal is to display a custom aggregation label, it would require a custom reporting solution (such as a custom dashboard/widget or UI Builder component), as there is currently no supported system property to rename Pivot Report aggregation labels.
