I have Created reference field in record producer but in portal i want to show only Employee number

I have created reference variable in record producer with sys user table but in portal if i opened variable i want to show only employee number field

OOTB shows the name, you need to modify the attribute of the same. You can't remove the user one but can add an employee number as well. It is the same as we can in the caller field on the incident table.

as of now i can see NAME but i dont want to see name i want to see only Employee number  
it is not possible to remove name 1st column ?

NO, not possible, you can add an employee number, actually having a name with a number will make it easy for agents and requestors to ensure he/she adds the right number.

but my requirement is i want to show only number then 2nd variable i want to autopopulate the name of the number
