I created a dashboard in Platform Analytics with two rows.
The first row contains pie charts,
and the second row contains a simple list.
I want to make the dashboard interactive so that when I click on a pie chart value (for example, “1”), the simple list displays only the corresponding related record.
I understand that this can be achieved using UI Builder, however, I would like to know whether the same functionality is possible directly within Platform Analytics.
I tried enabling the available interaction options, but it was not helpful.

Yes mate, you can create the filters. In Data Visualization (DV), it is very easy and straightforward.
Go to Platform Analytics → Filters, create the required filters, and then add them to the dashboard. By default, the filter works across all reports where it has been added.

no, not with Platform Analytics alone that I am aware of...
In ServiceNow, PA chart interactions can drill into data or open lists, but they can’t dynamically filter another widget on the same dashboard. That kind of click-to-filter behavior is only supported in UI Builder / Workspaces.
So you’re not missing anything really as Platform Analytics just doesn’t support this yet.
Thumbs up if this helps my friend!

Hi @Sathwik1 ,
Platform Analytics dashboards support basic interactive filtering. Clicking a pie chart value applies a dashboard-level filter, which updates all other charts and simple list widgets based on the same table. However I think it is limited to simple filtering . For more advanced or fully configurable interactions, UI Builder is required.
Here is the similar thread for your question you can refer:
I followed this ServiceNow documentation:
For Testing purpose, I Created three pie charts and a simple list. For each selection in pie chart list was filtered
List when incident by state is in progress
List when based on state and category :
list based on state , category and assigned-to
If you find this answer useful , please mark it as helpful/solution accepted.
