Need to Enable New view for End Users instead Default for ITAM workspace view

Hi team

I am working on restricting visibility of certain fields/variables on the alm_asset form.(end users are redirecting from the dashboard asset list which we are showing their asset)
To achieve this, I created a new form view called "restricted" and a View Rule that forces this view for all non-ITIL users.

  • View: restricted

  • Table: alm_asset

  • View Rule: If user does NOT have the itil role → apply “restricted” view

The view is created successfully and the rule is correct.

Issue:
When non-ITIL users open an asset record, the system still loads the ITAM Workspace form instead of the classic form. Because of this:

  • View Rules do NOT apply

  • The restricted view is never displayed

  • Users still see all fields/sections from ITAM Workspace

Question:
How can I disable or prevent the ITAM Workspace view from loading for end users, so that they always see the classic UI and the restricted form view applies properly?

Specifically, I need help with one of the following approaches:

  1. How to disable ITAM Workspace for specific users?

  2. Which roles enable access to ITAM Workspace?

  3. How to force classic UI instead of workspace for the alm_asset form?

  4. Is there a system property or configuration to turn off the workspace form for this table?

Any guidance or best practice recommendations would be appreciated.
