Resolution
Workaround (For Australia and Pre-Fix Releases)
Until the fix is applied, use one of the following workarounds:
Option 1: Switch to the Playbook's Scope Before Editing
- Before opening or editing the playbook, switch your application scope to match the playbook's scope:
- Navigate to the Application Picker (gear icon or scope selector in the banner).
- Select the application scope that the playbook belongs to.
- Once your session scope matches the playbook's scope, open the playbook and make your edits normally.
Option 2: Use a Non-Admin User with Playbook Authoring Role
- Instead of using a maint or admin user, use a user account that has the playbook.admin role but does not have the global admin or maint roles.
- This user should be able to edit playbooks across scopes without triggering the unauthorized action error.
Note: Option 1 is the recommended approach as it is the simplest and does not require creating additional user accounts.
