Regarding form submission

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with a custom form. As soon as I attach a file to the attachment field, the form submits immediately without showing the Submit option. Instead, I only see the Update option.

Has anyone happened to encounter this before, or can you guide me on how to debug this behavior?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

yes it's an OOTB feature and when you upload file on new record in attachment field type, it saves the record and opens that existing record.

I had raised this as an issue earlier with ServiceNow and they informed that it's OOTB feature.

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Thank you , for your prompt response on my question, I also raised a case with the support team , and they responded that this is the default behavior of the file attachment data type. My case is still in progress, and they are investigating further. I’ll post any updates here to inform future readers.

Thanks & Regards,
