Remove Encryption option for ASG (Austria, switzerland, germany) users.

Hi Everyone,

• As per requirement, we need to remove the encryption option for users belonging to ASG countries. The objective is to improve document accessibility and ensure that downstream teams can review and process the required documentation without visibility constraints.
• Initially, we thought that the encryption option was controlled by the encryption role. However, even after removing the encryption role from the ASG assignment groups, the encryption pop-up still appears when attaching a document.
• We later found that this encryption pop-up is an out-of-the-box functionality controlled by the system property: com.glide.encryption.enable_attachment_key_ui
• Currently, this property is set to true. When we set it to false, the encryption pop-up is no longer displayed. However, this is a global system property, so disabling it would impact all countries and users across the instance.
• Our requirement is to disable the encryption pop-up only for ASG users (case managers, HR partners), while keeping the encryption functionality enabled for all other countries.
• Could anyone please suggest the recommended ServiceNow approach to achieve this? Is there any supported way to control or override this OOB encryption pop-up conditionally based on country, assignment group, user criteria, or another configuration, without changing the global system property? Please find the screenshots of the Encrypt attachment popups.
