Unable to Update needit when needed field

I'm trying to update needit when needed field in needit conversation application but it is not updating.

However I've given access in Needit application

what might be the issue?

How is the backend of the conversation configured? 

Do you have any errors in the logs?

No I don't have any log errors in system logs. 
and what do you mean by backend conversation configurations? can you please specify?
