We created a report on sc_task table and added few columns those are the variables in the ritm and not visible on the task, in the report in back end I can see the data but after extracting to Excel the data for those variable columns are showing as empty.
So I thought of creating the report on RITM table but the end user requirement is to get the task number then I thought of creating a database view. with that when I am adding columns related to variables after saving again the variables in the columns are missing?
Any right approach any one can suggest.

Hi @InnamuriH
As a workaround , can you try with "Global = True" for those catalog variable ( which is showing as empty) and retry .
KB0597916 Variable columns do not show on List Report when selected table is a Database View

I cannot go with global, as it is impacting UI policies and showing the visibility of variables in the task.

Hello @InnamuriH
Install snutils as a browser extension.
sc_task_list.do -> Personalize List -> Under Selected, Select Request Item and in the dotfield box below add those columns/fields you created in RITM Table, hit enter and then click Ok
Export to excel.
Hope that helps!
