I have gone through ServiceNow Administration and HRSD, and now I want to move toward ServiceNow Development.
I would like to get some guidance from experienced ServiceNow professionals about the skills I should focus on to become job-ready.
- Do I need to learn the complete JavaScript language, or are there specific JavaScript concepts that are more important for ServiceNow development?
- What technical and ServiceNow-specific skills should I learn to apply for a ServiceNow Developer role?
- If I want to apply specifically for an HRSD Developer role, are there any additional skills or HRSD-related areas I should learn?
- Apart from ServiceNow Administration, HRSD, and Development, are there any other technologies, tools, or concepts that are expected from a fresher/junior ServiceNow Developer?
- What would be the best learning roadmap from my current level to becoming job-ready?
I would really appreciate it if experienced developers could share their advice on what skills are must-have for getting a ServiceNow Developer or HRSD Developer job and what can be learned later.
