How can we create assets from product inventory after the Customer Lifecycle flow is complete?

We are implementing a use case where hardware and software products in the Product Inventory should be converted to Assets. I see the Assets related list on Account page, but I don't see the conversion happening OOTB. Is there a possibility that PI gets converted to Assets automatically or is there a best practice around how this functionality can be achieved?

Hi @debdbiswas ,

You need to create Model Category record(s) if not already done. Under the model cateogry you would be creating a mapping for the Asset Class.

Map this Model Category to the Specification Category of the P/S/R Specification for which you wish to create an Asset when an inventory record is created.

Hi @ShashankInamdar , we have already configured that. But Asset is not created. However, I wanted to know how Asset gets created from Product inventory ? Is there any automated process I am missing or do we have to build any custom flow to create an Asset from PI?
