Adding risks to visual task board

I have a customer who is requesting to add risks to their visual task boards for briefing project status. They are able to present issues and opportunities (custom table) to the visual task board because both of these tables extend the base task table. However, risk does not extend task.

Has anyone encountered this and found a solution to make risks accessible to the VTB?

Not with risks, but with another table. We ended up creating a dashboard for the total overview of everything, including a link to the task related vtb and one to the risk vtb. Not sure if you can get around it and show them on the same vtb.

Mark, can you provide a screenshot of your risk vtb? Did you have to alter the out of the box configuration to make a non-task table visible in VTB?

Sorry. I changed jobs and don't have access to that instance anymore. And is was a long time ago, so not sure how we did that. I just know that it was there.
