Hi,
We have ITBM and would like to start using Agile Development or SAFe for product delivery and management, we would like to remain OOTB as much as possible and start in very simple way. We are already using Demand.
Does anyone have a simple process they can share or advice for how to get started?
Thanks
Mark

Hey Mark,
It's great to hear that you're looking to adopt Agile Development or SAFe for product delivery and management using ITBM. Starting in a simple way and remaining Out of the Box (OOTB) as much as possible is definitely a smart approach.
Considering your current usage of Demand, integrating Agile methodologies into your existing processes shouldn't be too complex. One simple process you could consider is to begin by setting up a basic Agile framework within ITBM. This might involve creating Agile boards or backlogs to manage your product backlog and track progress.
For Agile Development, you could start by defining your product backlog, breaking down user stories, and assigning them to sprints. SAFe, on the other hand, offers a more structured approach with its various levels of planning and coordination. Depending on your organization's size and needs, you might choose to start with a scaled-down version of SAFe, focusing on essential elements like Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Program Increment (PI) planning.
As for advice, I'd recommend starting with a small pilot project to test out your chosen Agile approach and refine your processes as you go. Encourage open communication and collaboration among team members, and don't hesitate to adapt your approach based on feedback and lessons learned.
Overall, the key is to keep it simple and iterate gradually. By starting small and leveraging Crystal Agile methodologies, you can gradually scale your Agile adoption while maintaining alignment with your organization's goals and objectives.
Hope this helps, and best of luck on your Agile journey!
