Azure DevOps Integration to Project Management.

We have a requirement in which our Azure DevOps is supposed to be linked to our Service Portfolio Management.  We have been using Service Portfolio Management for quite some time while using Azure DevOps but those processes were running in parallel because our integration had not been developed.  As a test, we tried to use the Azure Integration with the out-of-box tables provided however the feedback we got was that these tables are insufficient for our needs given that we put a lot of development into our Project portfolio.

The idea that we have is that we wish to include our Features as our projects while having our stories as our Project Tasks.  We may have sub-features that will work as sub-projects while our stories would be converted to Project Tasks with the Projects as their parents.  Unfortunately, while we were able to import the Stories, Epics, and Features into Project Tasks and Projects, we were unable to link these projects and the project tasks together.

Is there a link functionality that works with the integration?

Did you try this Store app ?

If for commercial or functional reasons, you want to build you own integration, you can refer below links. Please note this is just to give an idea how integration can be done between ServiceNow and Azure DevOps but is not replica of your requirements

We have the store app yes, we were using the integration provided and got it working on our system confirmed.  But the requirements have changed due to our Service Portfolio Management processes being mature.  We don't want to use the default integration to the Features, Epics, and Stories, however.

As mentioned in earlier post, you can also use build Custom Actions using Integration Hub and create a Flow or build custom Spoke to meet your requirements.

If you have expertise in Flow development, it would be easier to achieve this as Azure Dev Ops support REST API based integration.
