Can I have the hourly rates I defined under Resource Roles used to generate Cost Plans?

I've defined 100 Resource Roles with hourly rates and discovered that ServiceNow is defaulting to $50/hr when I create my cost plans,  for all the roles.  Is there a way I can turn off the system default and use my defined resource role & rates under Resource Roles without modifying the Rate Model and adding all the roles and rates again under Rate Lines

I don't know about Resource Assignments as we're not using those yet but I would expect a similar functionality as currently is for Resource Plans => in the Additional Actions of a Project (hamburger icon next to the Project name in Classic or More actions next SAVE button in New PW) there is one called "Recalculate Resource Costs" which should allow you doing just that.
