Xanadu Patch 1 Hotfix 2a
We recently migrated to resource assignments from resource plans. With resource plans, we were able to extend the plan. Can resource assignments be extended?
For example, we created operational assignments for admin and ktlo with a start date of 11/10/2024 and an end date of 12/31/2024. We wanted to extend these assignments to 12/31/2025 but it won't save the change. Instead of extending, it appears that we need to create new operational assignments starting 01/01/2025 and ending 12/31/2025.
Thank you

Because the resource assignments do not have the extend feature yet.
Also creating a new resource assignment is also a simple step.

We’ve encountered several issues with this process. When creating a Resource Assignment, a Resource Plan is automatically generated on the backend. These are linked together, and the dates are set. However, when we attempt to create a new Resource Assignment to extend the dates, we receive an error message indicating that the new dates are outside the allowed range, as it automatically ties back to the same Resource Plan for that user. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
