Can we define Non - human resources in ServiceNow SPM e.g. Machines

Hello Experts,

We have a need to track non-human resources e.g. machine or crane in ServiceNow and use this resource in project scheduling.

Is it possible to have a non-human resource in ServiceNow and use it like a resource in Resource Planning ?

Hello. Given the requirements that you specified, I believe that you would need to have that non-human resources as user resource with the pps_resource role. The biggest downside of this is that the non-human resource is going to require a license.
