Change default currency in Portfolio

Hi,

I want to make the Currency calculation under the entire Portfolio(include program, demand, project, cost plan, benefit plan) use HKD, is there any way?

I know that I can change the calculation logic of global property, but now the system is already used, can there be other ways?

You can navigate to "Budget reference rates" from left hand filter navigator

I just check my instance and found "Budget reference Rates" table have record, i request a new instance and i found the caculate logic is correct. Do you know this is why and could you give me some suggestions? Many thinks.

Thanks, now the price in cost plan can be automatically coverted. i want to know that the data in Budget Reference Rate is static, and it can still be set to automitically obtain the latest exchange rate relationship devey day, such as Exchange Rate(fx_rate) table.

Hi Peter,

Glad to know the multicurrency is now working and the cost plans get converted. The budget reference rates are static and not dynamic as fx_rate and will not obtain the exchange rates automatically.

So based on your organisations processes you may have to define the rates manually, ensuring correctness of the the start and end dates. This way you are assured of the project costs correctly and will not change daily.
