Changing a Label on Choice field considered a customization from ServiceNow standpoint?

I would like to change a label of a state choice field in demands from rejected to canceled and I am wondering if that would be an issue for ServiceNow as they would consider that a customization and not support it?

Hi there,
As long as you are only changing the Label and are NOT changing the Value for the sys_choice record, you should be good to go. I would consider that more of a configuration rather than a customization.

Changing the label for a more meaningful one for your organization is fine, but do not change the label if the intent is different.
In your example rejected is NOT the same as canceled so I would not recommend changing the label. You can add the state "Canceled" to the Demand table.
