Hi,
I am lookig for a way to have an Overview of the planned costs both on Projects (and Demands) and Business Services. I found that Expense Lines for example could be related to any object:
Expense lines integrate closely with asset management, CMDB, cost management, and contract management, but can be used with any application. The Source ID field on an expense line record can be linked to any record in any table, so expenses can be associated with a wide variety of items, such as a contract, an individual asset, a single configuration item, a software installation, a lease, a service contract, a user, or a group. Expense Line Advantages
Why is that not possible for Cost Plans? Is there anything similar to expense lines for planned costs (OOTB)? Or do you know any reporting solution in order to aggregate Project's and Service's costs?

Hi @Diana26 ,
Have you tried looking into PMO Dashboard that will show you aggregates for project costs: PMO dashboard (servicenow.com)

Hi @Ravi Peddineni ,
thanks for your suggestion but, as far as I can see, that Dashboard is still focused on Demand and Projects only, there is nothing on running Services. Any other idea? 🙂

Hello @Diana26
There is a plugin called Financial Management for SPM where you can allocate the costs to your service offerings. This gives a reports in service owner workspace related to financials for services. Check this out: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/xanadu-it-service-management/page/product/service-owner-workspace...

That sounds exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately it seems the Service Owner Workspace is in a planned deprecation. Do you know if there is some new feature as a "substitute"?
