Customizing Project Status Report

Good day,

 

I'm trying to custom the Project Status Report and I'm wondering if any of these options are currently feasible.  I'm working with a Yokohama instance.

 

I understand that the templates are stored in this table: sn_doc_page_template

 

Show only active decisions and issues

  1. I'm struggling with the proper syntax in the event that this is even possible in the manner that I'm thinking.  To test the idea, I edited the Content(JSON) as show below.  The result is nothing shows for the decisions.
    • "queryFilter":"show_on_status_report=true^active=true"

 

Add overdue project tasks to status report template

With this one I don't see a related list of project tasks to be able to add this, and further I'd need to be able to add a filter on the date that only shows the overdue project tasks.  Given the current limitations as defined in a response to this post: Status Reports in Project Workspace: Templates and... - ServiceNow Community, I'm thinking that this isn't an option right now.

 

Add active Change Requests (RFC's) associated with project tasks

This one also would need a related list of some sort, and a proper filter.  I'm going out on a limb and thinking this is going to require something outside the current capabilities of the project status report template functionality, but I'd appreciate any insight that could be shared.

Please submit a case task to show only active decisions and issues. This is possible in the next experience.

 

As far as showing overdue project tasks to status reports, that is a field we are looking to add in the near future. In order to add active change requests, yes that would be something that needs to be configured. We'll be adding more fields to the project status reports in the upcoming releases.
