Demand Management to Enhancement Request

Hi,

I'm new to ServiceNow and my question relates to Demand Management and its integration with the other modules.

Can the Demand Management module generate Enhancement Requests under SDLC for approved requests?

We have a lot of small/minor requests that still need to sized, reviewed, resourced and approved but then managed as enhancement requests rather than Projects.

In the Type field on demand form select Enhancement which will show you Create Enhancement UI action in the related link section of form

Yes Michael,

you can create enhancements from demands.

This link appears if the Category field is set to Strategic and the Type field is set to Enhancement. Click this link to create an enhancement record for this demand. The number of the enhancement record is displayed in the Enhancement field.

Hi Michael,

The functionality is available OOB. We have a Related Link named "Create Enhancement" available on the Demand form as shown below:

This Link will only be visible on the form if the Logged in User has a Role of "demand_manager" and Type field on the Demand form is selected as "enhancement". The same has been mentioned in the UI Action configured for this as shown below:
