Display Program Detail in Portfolio Planning Roadmap

I am attempting to use the Portfolio Planning Workspace (Tokyo Version) to display our portfolio of projects in a roadmap and group them by Program.  However, there does not appear to be any way to expose Program detail within the Portfolio Planning Workspace.  Am I missing something, or can this not be done?

In the ServiceNow Tokyo version, the Portfolio Planning Workspace has limited options for customizing the roadmap view. By default, it allows you to visualize projects by their portfolios, but it doesn't provide a direct way to group the projects by the associated Program out-of-the-box.

However, you can try a workaround to achieve a similar view:

1. Create a custom Portfolio for each Program you want to group the projects by.
2. Associate each project with the corresponding custom Portfolio, representing the Program.
3. In the Portfolio Planning Workspace, you can now visualize projects grouped by the custom Portfolios (i.e., Programs).

Starting to experiment with Portfolio Planning and had the same question.  Is there still no other way to group by Program or even see the Program field in a roadmap or portfolio plan?

Same here. Trying to use Program in a Portfolio Plan. I did create a custom Program field on sn_align_core_demand and set up the Integrations/SNC Interal field mapping between dmn_demand and sn_align_core_demand for it. Then I added it to the Group By field under Portfolio Plan Configuration for sn_align_core_demand. But it still doesn't show up as an option. Are Portfolio Plans hard-coded?

I had the same issue before. However, creating a Free-form Roadmap might get you around the situation, just need to choose the source table to "Project", and filter conditions under Portfolio, and it should give you the option to Group by " Program".
