FORM BUILDER NOT WORKING IN CUSTOMER AS IT WORKS IN MY PDI

Hello 🙂
I configured the Project Task form in Form Builder on my PDI and successfully added the fields for Actual Start Date, Actual End Date, and Actual Duration ( pleaase see attachment. However, when I attempted to replicate the same configuration in the customer instance, i can't do the same configuration and i can't move the field from one section to another for example.
Could you please assist with resolving this issue? I would appreciate your guidance on any potential configuration discrepancies or permissions that might be causing this behavior.

Hi,
Form Builder has had this as a bug since Xanadu. It still is not fixed in Yokohama. I'm not sure why ServiceNow hasn't addressed this as it is great functionality. You can try a different browser or clearing the cache but no guarantee it works. Best bet is to add the field to the table and use from builder to place them. Form Builder does not like it when you create the fields in Form Builder.

Can you please check if the view you selected is 'Default view' if its not then set the view to default and then try with form designer. If you are not able to with form designer please use 'form layout' and you will able to find it.
