I would like to grant the ability for users with the role "timecard_admin" to be able to edit time cards that are in the "processed" state. Currently the users have the ability to delete the timecard but not edit it.
Can someone help with this?

Hi Craig,
I wonder the reason for getting processed time cards edited. Even if it is required you can try modifying UI Policy named "Read only days when approved or processed"

The reason i am requesting to do this is because end users submitting their times often make mistakes and once they are processed it is too late to edit them so we have someone designated as a time card admin and all users send an email to this person with the changes that need to be made.

also to note, once the timecard is in a processed state, we DONT want the users themselves to have the ability to edit the time cards, only someone with a timecard_admin role.

In that case you can have negative hours filled in for the time card if the hours filled & processed was more. Alternatively you can have additional time cards filled in if hours were less.
Else, try modifying UI policy as suggested above.
If you want to make it work only for users with timecard_admin role then you can disable the UI policy & create a Client script that check for role & then make its editable.
