Have you tried going on a task within the project template and then performing an Insert and Stay ?

Hi Anji,


The best way to accomplish this is to take the base template and create a project record from it. Modify the project with the additional tasks, and then create a new template from that edited project.

But it is difficult to create new template for the sake of adding new task to existing template.

Hi Anji,


Is the purpose to add additional tasks for one time use or for ongoing template usage? If so, then updating the template is what is needed.


Can you explain where the difficulty is in updating the template for me to better understand your challenge?
