What role is required to enable users to edit Stories and Scrum tasks assigned to them?

Is there a specific role required to enable a user edit the story/scrum tasks assigned to them? They do not need to be able to create new stories, just once they get assigned a task they are able to update it and close when complete?

Hi Conor,

Users with scrum_story_creator can edit stories and tasks. You can find additional information here Setting up the Scrum Process Application - ServiceNow Wiki

Hi Conor,

OOB you need "scrum_story_creator" to edit stories and tasks. However this role also gives the ability to create stories and tasks.

So you might have to create a new role and acls to meet your requirements.

Hi Sheeba,

Thank you for the reply. Just one last question, are there additional license requirements with adding this role (or creating a new one based off it) to users? Do these users need to have the extra project user license?

Regards,

Conor.

Hi Conor,

Yes. Anytime you assign a role to the user, it is a license. So if you are looking to have users to have write access to these tables it will be additional project user licenses.
