How do I connect a test run of a test to a test execution suite in Test Management 2.0 in Madrid?

I'm working in my personal instance to test out the Test Management 2.0 functionality. I've gotten my Test Plan, Test Cycles, Test Execution Suites, and a few Tests created (and the test attached to the Execution Suite). From there, I can't figure out how to run the test and have the results and progress tied to the test in the test execution suite. Shown below is the Test Execution Suite, with a Test Execution Assignment listed at the bottom. 

To run the test itself, I have to navigate to the "Tests" page under Test Management 2.0 (right?) and then I select the Test Version, and Hit Run and start walking through the test and updating the results accordingly. When that is complete, there is no way to connect those results back to the Test Execution Suite so that it can update the percentages and results notes in the Test Plan.

 

Am I missing a step? Or doing it incorrectly? Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂 Any other advice about Test Management would be great!

Hi Kristi,

Right now we didn't provide a run button on the test assignments list. For now, use the Test Management 2.0 -> Tests Assigned to me module. 

If you want you can customize the Run button on the Test Assignments List.

When I run the test though, it shows in the Test Run that it passed, but it does not show up in my Test Execution Suite that it passed or failed (basically the Test Execution Suite doesn't display the Result). How would I fix that?

I guess my question is: How do I update the test result in the Test Execution Suite?
