How To Bring Project Records into Collaborative Work Management

During Knowledge, we saw demos of how to bring project records into Collaborative Work Management and the ability to create charts, etc. in CWM.  Where might I find the documentation to do this?

Hi @Marjorie Bradbu

Depending on the use case you wish to support, we can surface Project records into CWM in a couple of different ways:

1. Referencing a project or project task in CWM boards - Add a custom column type of "Reference" and select Project or Project Task as a reference table. You will then be able to tie your CWM task to a project record in the reference field

2. Referencing a project or project task in Docs - an admin can enable this by updating the "sn_cwm.record_mention_config" property to include the necessary project tables. 3. Mapping the creation of any project or project task record to the creation of a cwm task. A guide can be found here: https://www.servicenow.com/community/cwm-articles/how-to-map-creation-of-any-record-to-a-cwm-task/ta...

4. My Work - A consolidated view of all CWM & SPM Tasks (project tasks, RIDAC, stories) assigned to you. This experience is to be released in our upcoming August 2024 release.

If you wish to support a different use case, please share additional details and we'll be happy to investigate!
