I believe that new functionalities are not being announced that frequently, but to stay ahead with the news or plans regarding any module (SPM in this case), it might be good idea to navogate to the SPM blog or the SPM product page.
The difference is that blog displays blogs only while the product page has some more blogs, events, articles, questions. I recommend you to check what looks good to you and then you can subscribe to get either notifcation here on the Community forum or to your associated mail box (depending on how you set your notification preferences).

I am not actively subscribed to that myself so I cannot tell you how many or how often you will get any news, but you can try to see.
Another thing would be to watch demo sessions and webinars and these two sites shall be great resource not to miss it. Eventually check the SN Youtube channel, perhaps you can subscribe from there as well.
